Mitch McConnell has kept the Republicans together pretty well, overall, against Obama. But he has miscalculated over Wall St reform. Obama should move quickly. He has broad public support. Some Republicans will defect. The more Obama achieves legislatively, the better he looks for November.
Obama shows he CAN deliver. He can ignore the Republicans, they matter less every day. They’re run by hysterical idealogues who seem old & tired. Mr President – show the passion & energy that you showed for health care, for the economy now – and you’ll be just fine in November.
Scott Brown may not be so bad. I was impressed that he voted with John Kerry in favor of the Adminstration’s Jobs Bill. This shows that he may be more of a swing voter and actually may be more in the tradition of Snowe & Susan Collins of Maine. Maybe this has been a positive [...]
